ABOUT THE POSITION

The operations at the EMC-ICT Unit within the Vehicle and Automation department are now expanding. The unit works with cutting-edge technology in Northern Europe's largest EMC testing facility and participates in the entire development chain – from research and development to testing and certification – in close collaboration with industrial customers in telecommunications, IT, automotive, and industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves working in a team that delivers expertise in EMC testing of products for both consumer and industrial use. The tasks include EMC testing according to applicable standards for CE marking and for the North American market. The work is primarily carried out in EMC and radio labs as well as in modern vehicle labs.

The tasks are varied and also include work on improvement projects, automated testing, and functionality monitoring with the support of AI. Testing assignments vary depending on the product and certification requirements, which means new technical challenges and the use of a wide range of measuring instruments. Depending on experience and skills, the tasks may also include programming, project management, on-site measurements, as well as investigation and analysis work.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is a recent graduate or an experienced engineer, preferably in electrical engineering, electronics, or radio communication.
  • You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
  • Enjoy social settings and are service-oriented.

It is advantageous if you have knowledge of:

  • EMC testing
  • Radio design
  • Electronic design
  • Testing and verification of electronics
  • Programming
